The Pearson BTEC Level 5 HND in Automotive Engineering is a qualification with a minimum of 240 credits of which 65 are mandatory core.

The BTEC Level 5 HND provides greater breadth and specialisation than the BTEC Level 4 HNC. BTEC HNDs are followed predominately by full-time learners. Progression from this qualification may well be into or within employment in the automotive sector where learners may work towards Incorporated Engineer status. Alternatively, learners could progress on to degree courses in related engineering areas such as mechanical engineering or manufacturing engineering.
