Institute of Motor Industry (IMI) awarding body is the UK retail motor industry’s first choice for automotive qualifications and accreditations. As the market leader for the automotive sector, they partner with more than 600 approved centres (including training providers, colleges, schools, vehicle manufacturers etc.) to offer over 200 nationally-recognised qualifications and accreditations.

Pearson is the UK's largest awarding body and it is regulated by Ofqual (England), SQA Accreditation (Scotland), CCEA Accreditation (Northern Ireland) and Qualifications Wales (Wales). It offers academic and vocational qualifications that are globally recognised and benchmarked, with educational excellence rooted in names like Edexcel, BTEC, EDI and LCCI.
NCAT has been granted center recognition to deliver Pearson qualifications (BTEC).

IC3 is a global training and certification program offered at NCAT to provide learners with essential skills for computer literacy. The objective of IC3 (Internet and Computing Core Certification) program is to develop the computing and IT understanding and skills necessary to source, process and communicate information related to Diploma and Short Courses learners.
This program is a composite of three different modules targeting specific skill sets:
Key Applications: Cover popular word processing, spreadsheet and presentation applications and the common features of all applications.
Computing Fundamentals: Covers a foundational understanding of computing.
Living Online:Covers skills for working in an Internet or networked environment.
HOW IC3 IS OFFERED IN NCAT
IC3 is offered for students who join NCAT either for short courses or Diploma courses. This course is mandatory for Diploma learners.
For short courses learners; two options are available:
1. Attend related IC3 classes (Optional) and appear for exams.
2. Directly appear for exam.
